We ask for your monetary gifts so that we can continue to give the community the quality festival it deserves.  Gifts of all sizes are appreciated.  They help us grow as we stay true to our mission of celebrating African American art, music, history and culture. The African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh & Wake County is a tax-exempt nonprofit  501(c)(3) organization.


The African American Cultural Festival Family Village is a great place for festival goers of all ages to have a fun, educational, hands-on experience. Enjoy engaging performances on the Family Village stage by storytellers, dance troupes, drum circles, and much more. Create something of your own in the Make-and-Take craft tents. Learning about African American culture is a unique experience in the Family Village - bring the whole family! 


The Vendor Marketplace tents on Fayetteville Street are full of unique products sold by individual business owners and vendors. Browse the variety of clothing, accessories, jewelry, natural bath products, home decor and much more. The African American community has a long history of entrepreneurship - come support small business owners and see what the Vendor Marketplace has to offer. 


The Art Gallery Walk lines both sides of Fayetteville Street with tents displaying original art created by artists from North Carolina and across the country.  Stroll along the street; be inspired by the plethora of paintings, jewelry, ceramics, sculptures, and mixed media art the festival has to offer.  Meet the artists, learn about their techniques, and purchase an original creation to enjoy for years
to come.
